Coach Registration

In addition to the terms & conditions set forth in the coach's AVP membership registration, I acknowledge that I will be subject to a background check prior to being granted access to coaching at an AVP tour event. The purpose of background screening all coaches is to help provide a secure and safe environment for all attendees and volunteers. The AVP is utilizing a certified, safe third party service to run all checks. Your private information and the results will never be shared. We greatly appreciate your commitment and dedication towards making this the highest quality event. More instructions for completing your background screening will be found in your confirmation email. A national background check is required for all AVP coaches. Individuals may not commence any coaching responsibilities until they have successfully completed a background check. Individuals who decline to sign the consent form below will no longer be considered for coaching access. AVP is required to comply with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”) if it uses a private vendor. If certain violations are found in an individual’s history, the individual is immediately disqualified as a coach. AVP may disqualify an individual based on any crime or conduct that in AVP’s opinion constitutes a safety or security risk to a given event. The following criteria may be used but is not limited to: Murder; felony conviction involving the use of a deadly weapon; conspiracy against civil rights; any sex offense/assault; robbery; kidnapping; any violent offense.
