Important Information

  • The minimum age for a volunteer is 12 years old.
  • All volunteers receive one t-shirt for the entire weekend. If volunteers are working multiple days, they should plan to wear their shirt each day.
  • It is preferred that volunteers wear black or tan shorts, beach sandals and a hat. Plan for the weather accordingly.
  • Volunteers should wear plenty of sunscreen. Don’t forget to bring it with you!
  • Volunteers for Heritage events Friday - Sunday will be provided lunch, snacks, and plenty of water during the shifts worked. If you are volunteering for Thursday's Qualifier in Manhattan Beach or TOUR SERIES events, only water will be provided. Please plan accordingly.
  • If there is an unexpected change in weather conditions (rain, wind, etc.), it is required that volunteers stay until the end of the shift, even if play is suspended. Play may resume at anytime.
  • Please note that while the Volunteer Coordinator makes every effort to match you with your position preferences, volunteer positions are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Volunteers will have plenty of time to interact with the pro athletes, get autographs, and take pictures once matches are completed.
